DeepSeek open-sources dsh-superagent, a prototype coding agent that watches GitHub, takes requests and opens PRs
On October 31, DeepSeek's Harness team open-sourced dsh-superagent under the MIT license. It watches one GitHub repository (and optionally Feishu); when an authorized person asks for work, it opens a work item, does it in its own session and folder, and answers back in the original thread, for example with a pull request. DeepSeek stresses it's a research prototype, not an official product. My take: the interesting part isn't that AI writes code, it's the design rule of taking as little human attention as possible. The edge now goes to teams that can write clear rules and permissions so the AI finishes the job before it comes back to them, instead of asking for a nod at every step.
